STCP reinforces line 600 and ensures transportation to the North Festival
The summer festival season kicks off next weekend, and STCP will once again be the mobility partner for the major events taking place in the Porto Metropolitan Area, ensuring transportation for thousands of visitors to the festivities.
For the first time in a new location, the North Festival, now situated in the Maia Sports City (Dr. José Vieira de Carvalho Municipal Stadium), is more central, with greater capacity to receive the public and close to connections with STCP (Porto public transport company).
From Friday to Sunday, visitors can count on an enhanced bus service to arrive easily, avoiding parking concerns and ensuring safety.
Reinforcement of line 600 (Aliados – Maia)
On Friday, June 5th, bus line 600 is the best option to reach the Festival, via the Maia (Câmara) stop which is close to the venue. During this day, the line will be reinforced with high-capacity buses.
During the weekend, when a larger influx of people is expected at the venue, line 600 also has an increased frequency.

It is also possible to reach the North Festival from Marquês, via lines 603 (Marquês – Maia (Espido)) and 605 (Marquês – Maia (Barca)), and from Hospital S. João, via line 604 (Hospital S. João – Airport via Crestins).
From 00:30 onwards, line 4M ensures the return trip from Maia to Aliados, establishing a connection with the rest of the night network that serves the other municipalities where STCP operates: Vila Nova de Gaia, Matosinhos, Gondomar and Valongo.
